Did you watch this show at all? Yes, the show is pretty cliched, but it does a good job of playing with them and making a bit of fun of them at the same time. Also at point this show could be really oddly sincere which I though was endearing. I'm not going to say this show was amazing, but it was pretty solid and enjoyable fluff.

I'm not sure why people are saying it sold, let alone sold well....

It did about 4k a volume, which is okay, but by no means is it a hit.

With that said, I was hoping it got a second season, and I'm glad it did.

yes, these thing cliched, but the magical girl is a guy here, and the guy is a zombie...

i felt that twelve episodes was too short for this type of anime... they should have come with twenty six episodes at least from very beginning if they have actual story to tell...

at least there were no fillers within main episodes (the final episode "filler" does not insult viewers as anywhere close as actual fillers, which exactly fill in between episodes with content and events...)

Maken Ki should be ok. Its another boy with power and lots of girls. If there was going to be a second season there never should have been a 12th episode. Cliffhanger that show a bit better and leave it.

The show just seem to be getting a plot and story line then they shove out that crap.

Coolios, moar of dem necrophilia actshuns n da moe gurls. I'll be happy to see mah little Necromancer, Ms. Vampninja, Waifu, and not so pleasant to see Masou Shoujo. Oh, I forgot about the Mahou Shounen.

Reminder: There's an OVA coming this Summer, boys 'n' gals... And adults.

I guess I may have to give the first season another chance. I watched the first episode, and thought it was absolutely horrible.

But, it seems to be popular among fandom. So, I may give it another shot.

No, because you will simply continue to break it down to its most fundamental aspects despite anything we might say in its favor.

[mockery]Romance? Cliche. That shit's been around since before people could write. Comdey? Cliche. Same thing. Jeebus, how hard is it to think up new ideas. [/mockery]

I don't see why....wasn't that good at all...hell the entire final episode was filler for some reason.

The way I saw it, the final episode was a shot of all the other Idol/beach fanservice/ecchi plots in other shows. Since it parodied a few other genres, I found it natural to end a parody series on a trove of parodies.

I liked the first season. Didn't think an S2 is necessary but I'm not gonna complain. I'll definitely watch it. Eu-chan daisuki.

That must be good enough to green-light a 2nd season - either way I'm glad since it was definitely entertaining.

In terms of sales you'd think Tiger & Bunny should be getting another season - their AMZ.jp ranked with 3 sets in top 15

She didn't actually call him that. She called him a dung-beetle (which is amusing in its own right). Just the folks at Crunchy trying to pull a Ted Woolsey on us.

Anyway, happy to see this getting a continuation. The original was random and brainless, but it was the right kind of random and brainless; the kind that doesn't forget to make having your brain rot away be fun.
