I remember one in Mound and one in Apple valley. There was one other but I can't remember it I do know they were all in the metro area though. Carmike (sp) theater chain iirc.
Hope that helps Smile

stupid Q... is this going to be the Sub'd version of the movie... or are they coming out with a Dub'd version? I honestly don't even know if there is a Dub, but in any case I hope this hits the Denver market Very Happy

I'm positive that it will be dubbed. They've been planning this for a long time, so I'm guessing that they would've dubbed it in that time. Also, they dubbed the whole series, so what's the point in not dubbing the movie to it as well?

Did anyone see any Massachusetts theaters...specifically Boston? I'm so impatient that I don't want to wait for them to repost the list!

It's going to be dub, I can verify that is a dub for the movie. First off I saw the movie dub at the premiere at Anime Expo, and I bet the movie theater are going to be showing the dub version of the film.

As for the Denver market, I didn't see if there was a theater near there but I bet there will be since Funi didn't have a LA, Chicago, or NY screening. A Funimation representive said that they are trying to get more theaters. So I would wait for the new list but chances are your going to be able to see it, might have a little longer drive.
Till next time,

Delta Kiral

What odd locations. None of those places are "major" cities in the my home state! I wonder why there isn't a theatre in Raleigh, Charlotte, or Asheville showing the movie? I mean, I guess I can drive to Wilson or Fayetteville, but that seems a bit far just to see a 2 hour movie! Rolling Eyes

Here's the even weirder part. All the Texas locations are not even close to a major city. Tyler is about 2 hours from Dallas and Abilene is about 8 hours. What makes this even stranger is that the the Funimation studio is in Fort Worth which is about 20 minutes from Dallas and a sizable city in itself.

As has been said before. This is as of right now exlcusive to Carmike Cinemas which deals mainly in small to midsized towns. That is why no major cities appear to have it for the time being.

I was a little startled to see it's going to be in my area of Montana, I am not accustomed to seeing anything of significance here in Montana. Very Happy

Couldn't agree with you more. FMA is a mind-blowingly awesome series, therefore it's movie truly deserves a fantastic theatrical release. Cool Cool Cool

btw, I checked the site and can't see any listings. Does anyone know if there'll really be a release in Chicago? And if so, what theaters?

Oh, and please, please, PLEASE don't discuss Spoilers here. I'd be SO grateful to not know anything ahead of time.
