Calling it now how the final strip is going to go down:


spoiler[*Kevin is busy working on an assignment in his dorm, when his roommate comes in*

KEVIN: Oh hey, have you heard anything about when Nina and Paola are due to arrive? I have to go meet them at the airport later.

ROOMMATE: Yeah... about that..... I... I have a message.

KEVIN: Yeah? And?

ROOMMATE: *sighs* ....Nina and Paola's plane... was shot down.... over the sea of Japan. It spun in......


....there were no survivors.

*gets choked up and leaves the room*


KEVIN: *drops his pencil onto a pan on the floor making a clanking sound, before silently going back to working on his paper*]
