Oh well. Not like I don't have a massive backlog, and I've already played the original DS version. As long as it comes out at some point, I'll be happy.

There is little doubt for the Japanese version to be released in due time, the only thing that might be "up in the air" would be an international version.

I don't know. It bodes better then a rushed product. I mean, there's always a chance the game will keep getting delayed until its quietly cancelled. But I'd rather believe its a quality control issue, and we're getting a better product as a result.

Also, semi-related. Is this the only announced game on Atlus's slate currently? I'm not aware of anything else coming up since Etrian Odyssey Untold came out.

For the most part. There's also "SMT X Fire Emblem," "P4 Ultimax" and "Persona 5," but I'm pretty sure they're just supervising "SMT X FE" as opposed to developing it, and the most they've said about"P5" is that they're working on it.
EDIT: And it only just now occurred to me that if it's like the first game, they're only writing the story for "Ultimax," not developing the game itself. So yeah, "Break Record" and "P5" seem to be the only things they're developing right now.
