that's impressive. I don't believe they have ever had 8 simulcasts going for one season

Wow, 8 Simulcast, and most of them look pretty good.

Good Job Funi.

Nobunagun (under the spelling Nobunagan)

Nah, they just messed up the spelling. They corrected it.

I'm quite surpise that Funimation has 8 this season, never new they grab a bunch. Though I am also quite surprise that Nobunagun is simulcasting both sites (Funimation and Crunchyroll).

Yup, we noticed, and all the incorrect spellings have been fixed. Thanks though!

So 11 simulcasts (with Tokyo Ravens, Toriko and One Piece), that is mighty impressive FUNi.

Not bad. Buddy Complex kinda surprised me tbh as part of their lineup.

I wasn't surprised, as soon as they announced the Japanese blu-ray of Buddy Complex will have English subtitles included. I knew this indicate a western company would pick this up for US release, and I put my bet Funimation would be the one to pick it up and yep, my prediction came true. Very Happy

Interesting that YTV now does shared simulcasts(wonder if Funi also got Wanna Be The Strongest in the World).

I think Daisuki will also stream Buddy Complex(Funi's wording makes it ambiguous whether that is a shared simulcast or not).

Funi does have a impressive haul though(8 new simulcasts with a total of 11).

Please, god no.

If there was ever a show that doesn't deserve a dub, that's it.

I thought summer 2010 tied for the number of new simulcasts, but when I double-checked, I found only 7. (If they had simulcast Strike Witches 2 as originally announced, it would have tied).

As it stands, it appears this sets a new high bar for both number of new simulcasts and number of total simulcasts in a single season at Funimation.

After their second announcement today, CR added 3 more boxes, meaning at least 4 more simulcasts to go there.

Nice! That's a surprisingly large amount of shows now as others have already noted too.

Also, glad I can now look forward to another Funi dub for a giant robot show, I hope it continues to be good after enjoying the first ep.
It begins with Aoba Watase, a boy who goes to high school in Tokyo and lives a carefree daily life. On the morning of his school's opening ceremony after summer vacation, he goes to campus as usual, but he has a chance encounter with another boy. The other boy's name is Jyunyou Dio Weinberg. Their encounter will soon alter the fate of the world.
I'm sure they'll correct it, but generally speaking if you know what's wrong it's faster to just specify it.
