So it's $9,000 for the next Kimagure Orange Road Kickstarter tier, while Skip Beat! is only $1,200 from reaching its main goal.
Edit: Skip Beat's done, but KOR still needs love. Also, Otaku no Video Blu-Rays are currently being tested. Last edited by GATSU on Wed Apr 13, 2016 2:32 am; edited 2 times in total |

Regarding the Skip Beat KS:
Is there any more info on the physical release? The lack of details on their project page leads me to believe this is some type of dvd-r bare-bones box set? |

I can't answer for any DVD extras, but they have over 1100 backers so far. Most of those will be getting the release. There is no way that would be done DVD-R.

I wouldn't expect that to be the case. Time of Eve KS was handled very professionally by Pied Piper and besides using DVD-R would be an incredible black eye for the company and future projects. Ann from Pied Piper has a twitter account listed on the KS page or you could contact her thru KS (an account is free if you don't have one) if you want to ask her that question directly. She's generally very good at getting back with answers to questions in a timely manner. |

Skip Beat! has reached its bluray stretch goal of 185,000 and there is still 38 hours to go! I've been a backer since the beginning, but I honestly didn't think it was going to make it to the fully funded goal, let alone the bluray stretch goal. Glad I was wrong.

Moving on, $1.5 k and less than 13 days left to reach the first tier of the Urotsukidoji Kickstarter.
Oh, and if you got any extra change under your couch, maybe help a brother out? Last edited by GATSU on Wed Jul 06, 2016 12:04 am; edited 11 times in total |

If anyone is interested: Vampire Hunter D comic on Kickstarter. At $27,182 its already met its initial goal of $25K in two days. If you are a VHD fan this maybe up your alley. |

Sorry, but no uncut tentacle porn for you. But at least the KS made it to the end. So now you can get the actual 'story' behind Urotsukidoji, if that's what you're into.

So I've already posted this in my Cel/Sketch Collectors Forum, but I believe this needs some wider reach! They are just under 3.5K of their goal and there are only 4 days LEFT! I was able to donate a small sum myself, and have each fundraising round since the project came to my attention in 2015!

Animeigo has now confirmed that the Otaku no Video BDs addressed to EU/UK fans have been shipped. In addition, they hinted at a possible new crowdfunder later this month.

Anyone remember that little Kickstarter for Mai Mai Miracle? Anybody? Well it seems that packaging for the Discs has finally been approved. We should expect backer surveys at end of the week and delivery date sometime early November barring any further delays.
In the mean time for people who like to import Japan will be releasing the BD for the first time, which will include the Kickstarter funded dub in October. |

Seems a bit on the nose, the Japanese BD with the crowdsourced dub getting released before the Kickstarter physical release. Not such a feelgood process all round.

Backers are getting access to the dub via a stream before the Japanese BD comes out.

I know. And I'm sure the physical release will be nice. (And I'm looking forward to getting mine!) It just hasn't been the most energizing experience for backets all along... But there you go. I'd back it again.
