So, I didn't post this in Duplicate Persons, because it looks like everything's already been moved over to one profile, and the second is blank. I'm curious, though, which is the name that should be in use.

I've never seen the stuff he's in, so I don't know what he's most commonly called in the credits, but his official bio on Sakura-Con's website (he's a guest this year) uses Erik Scott Kimerer, which is the blank one.

Preferably, both names should be used: whichever one appears in the official credits should be used. Erik Kimerer can be merged as an alias of Erik Scott Kimerer (though I can't do it myself, so we'll have to wait until Dan or dormcat sees this thread). Practically, though, users tend to gravitate to existing entries even if the credited name is different. I always try to make note of what the name in the credits is in the source field if it's ever any different from the entry. This includes kanji being different, by mistake or not, for a Japanese person.
