Thanks for giving Arisa a little attention. Over the past few years, it's been the manga I most look forward to getting a new volume of, packed as it is with one wild surprise after another. Putting the title character back in play mid-way through the story, and pitting her against Tsubasa, might take the cake for defying expectations.

Totally agree. I always thought Kitchen Princess was surprisingly dark for a shojo considering spoiler[they killed off one of the love interests halfway through] so I hoped this would be as good. I bought the first volume before Del Rey went under and I'm so glad Kodansha continued it. One of their better choices spoiler[not that I'm still bitter about Nodame or anything...]
