Well, I guess #1 wins hands down. After all who'd ever think that Dracula would take a hamburger over blood. But of course 'D' from Vampire Hunter D was one of the earlier incarnations of anime history. Though I'm sure we probably could find something older than that. But 'D' was my first.

Wasn't there some Touhou vampire who claimed to be descended from Vlad Tepes? Or is that not anime enough, being a video game series and all?

Im not sure if the person who wrote this list has seen Hellsing Ultimate. but if they haven't that's kinda dumb, cause when he takes on his true form(first off he is Dracula) he really does look like Dracula.
