If anything, HOTD should be lighter compared to GG. On the surface, GG is the generic cute-girl-do-things story, but deep inside it has some very disturbing characterizations.

This came as a surprise to me tbh but it should be well...both cute and violent at the same time.

That thing dropped stereotypes with the speed of big airplane bomb. What I certainly did not expect was a mixture of "28 days later' with iyashikei stuff.

Of course, going outside. And some plants growing on the roof, the dinner hall had some products... And such things.

It's not really about zombies, though. Or zombie attacks. It's about four girls striving to maintain some normalcy in their lives when everything around them has completely collapsed.

A shame that it will be completely impossible for people to go into this show without already knowing what it is. The first chapter is not upfront about this, so there's a really big WTF at the end.

Oh well, while I normally don't care at all for zombie stuff, I really love the manga, so I'm glad it's getting an anime. I fell behind due to a long period of time between chapters right when I first read it and caught up, might as well wait until after the anime to catch up now.

This is some good material, so I hope the show gets some good talent working on it.

To be honest, I didn't have much interest in it until I saw this comment. I now have a reason to keep an eye on it at least. Very Happy

Holy [expletive] shit, one of my favourite manga getting an anime, I knew it'd come.

.

That depends, I got into this manga without knowning anything about it. I just though it'd be another CGDT series.

Then again, I read the first chapter on the day it got translated, and then the next 9 chapters in the next 2 days.
