I didn't get a single autograph from any guest even though I have certain advantages of being a volunteer staff. I was pretty much at the gate to check the tickets.

Aww shucks ◉︵◉) I guess it was only the staff hanging around the autograph lines or possibly on break that got a chance to get some autographs then
Do volunteer staff get paid too? And what sort of advantages did you have if you don't mind sharing... lol |

The staff I spoke with said that they'd have a meet and greet with the guests on Sunday, so I assumed that that was when volunteers and staff would get their autographs. I'm sad to hear that it didn't work out that way.
Incidentally, I've noticed that JX is deleting even moderately negative feedback posts on their facebook page. Fanime tries to do this too after their disastrous 2013 con. It's sad that, instead of asking attendees if there were problems and working with attendees to improve those areas, JX is turning a blind eye and doing whatever they want. I can't see this con thriving if they're not willing to listen to attendee feedback. |
