Hint #2:
Along with six others, that person is responsible for murdering and consuming the speaker's father.

Good enough, although he's talking about himself, while hiding from Benten.

Someone has to break the ice.
From the official sub:
Character A: Let me be clear, Character B-kun. Not only am I not interested in archery, I’m not interested in you. The fact is I only just now noticed you were on the archery range, and I’m certain I won’t notice you in the future.
Character B (screaming): Say what? How dare you, Character A?!
Character A: You’re welcome to be self-conscious, but you should tone it down.

Glorious indeed. Not only is this the best incarnation of her yet, but they've actually managed to make Shirou half decent.
Your turn, getchman.

What're you talking about? Shirou has always been awesome.

next quote, fansub
Character A: Ok B, here you go
Character B: I'm oozing with talent! Thank you God! Wait, no! I should be thanking myself! After all, I am God!
Character C: God?
Character A: She's getting carried away
Character C: Um.. you all don't find her annoying?
Character D: Nope, but she is a little loud
Character B: Behold my divine painting! My divine composition! My divine decalcomania, my decalo-god-nia!
Character C: You were right, it is ok to be self-confident!

This is from Jinsei. Character C is "Negative Number 2," Yano. He was worried being too confident would make others hate him, so the 2nd Newspaper Club show him Emi during a painting spree.

Funny how the fansub indication narrowed it down, since it's like, the only recent show without any official subs.
Dub:
"For as long as I can remember I've known how to die, but I'm not sure I ever knew how to live. But in spite of all that, there was some one willing to help me learn to live. I wanted to... see her again... I wanted to hear her voice again."

Incorrect.
Hint #1: He had actually seen the girl in question flying around the battlefield earlier, although he couldn't hear her.
