I always considered this game to be so ludicrously difficult that I never really payed much attention to it. Now, however, I have finally managed to leave my mark in this game and I feel proud for it.

Thanks, Errinundra, for taking your time to do a second list. However my first formula was so crude that had someone with only 10 seen-all titles managed to score a single point, he'd be promoted to 50 points using the old formula. So I deviced a new, more balanced formula, and updated the list. With this new formula, the previous example will result in 2 points, rather than 50.
The Night fox Order of Merit - Revised Edition Score = (in-game points * 1000) / (# of seen-all titles + 500) If seen-all is not specified, a default value of 500 is used.

What happens if Key does not post the topic within 24 hours? I think he remains the referee until there's strong evidence of abandonment, meaning no one else can post a new topic. Correct?

I'm the same as Cam0, I always find this game extremely difficult and prior to this round I never made more than 1 or 2 points per round, so the leap to 20 is like... man, that's pretty cool.

Well, I'm sure someone can post a new thread and just copy-paste the rules from this thread into the new one. If Key wants to make changes to the rules he can always do so using his moderator powers, so really, it doesn't matter who has the first post. However, I do think we should wait a little longer for him to come back before posting the new thread ourselves. A few more hours waiting won't hurt. |
