I didn't find out until a little while back that Japan never got Sailor Moon on Blu-ray. No wonder the release sucked. Of course Funimation managed to do a decent job upscaling Fairy Tail for Blu-ray but an American company remastering a 1992 series and putting it in 1080p? That's a horrible idea.

I'm glad Madman are listening and I can't wait to see what the special edition contains. Plus from what I've heard of it the English dub is fantastic.

I beg to differ. The original DBZ Level Set Blu-Rays had pretty much near-perfect video quality and were all done in-house at Funimation. And we're talking an anime that started in 1989 even compared to Sailor Moon's 1992.
