Finally. I've been wanting to watch this movie forever. Will still have to wait for it to be released on dvd since I doubt it'll show where I live, but at least we have a date for theater release.

I'll admit I did enjoy this film. So I'm definitely looking for a release on DVD. I decided to check out the book and read it. Luckily I found some libraries that had a few copies for loan.

Hopefully now people will realize this film exists. It's ridiculous how many people are under the impression that Princess Kaguya is Ghibli's last film (before the restructuring, I mean). And before that got a wide release, everyone thought The Wind Rises was their last film. I guess most people don't really pay attention to Ghibli's stuff when it isn't released outside of Japan at the time, despite how much of a self proclaimed "Ghibli fan" they are.

I'm excited to see this though. It will be a bittersweet experience for me for sure.

The people at GKids are doing God's work. They might be the best theatrical distributor in America and the fact that they are doing it in this economy kinda blows my mind.

I don't know.

Most Studio Ghibli's movies i saw were Hayao's.

Is it a good movie ? worth the premium ticket? $9 per ticket around here

Or should i just wait for it to be on blu-ray?

It's a non-Miyazaki movie, that's why I'm watching it.

Grey Griffin = Grey DeLisle. She got married and changed her last name.

So far the cast looks really good (maybe this is a sign that Geena Davis' career is rising from the dead?). Can't wait to watch the film!

Cool off, man. That kind of post is irrelevant, contentless, and unnecessary.
