And the joke is that she still says 'cartoon' instead of 'Anime'.
Not sure how big of a fan she is then... Shocked

So you're going to judge her and question her status as a fan by one word she uses?

Not sure if you're a big fan or not if you don't understand the fact that anime is Japanese for cartoon. Spongebob is called an anime there if you don't know that.

At first I was conflicted when I saw the shirt, thinking "is this meme relevant again?" But after reading the article, I see one of the best women in the world got even better.

Truthfully I'd say it's a cartoon too especially to non-anime fans. When I talk to people I sorta get's embarrassed when the word 'anime' pops up, "I'm watching FMA." "What's that?" "It's uh, uh, a uh show... An animated show." lol

Plus, that word battle's so old retread back in the early days of fandom; nobody really cares anymore save maybe some newbies.

I'm always happy to see Ronda Rousey in the news. She seems like an awesome person and also, selfishly, I keep hoping her judo roots and rise in popularity will make judo popular in the US again.

Also she's talking about Vegeta training on the moon...I'm waiting for her to be the first sports visionary to build the first hyperbolic time chamber (or whatever they called it) for training purposes! That will absolutely turn out well...maybe...

Funny thing is I would not have noticed that she was wearing that shirt until I saw this article. I would also think that Dragon Ball Z is somewhat mainstream over here considering it's following.

That being said, Ronda is very smart, talented, beautiful, and works very hard to keep that championship belt. Not a fan of her personally (her unsportsmanlike gesture towards Tate turned me off) but it's good to see that she is having these kinds of opportunities to do things that most people can only dream of, and enjoying doing them too.
