Really sad to see this news. I wasn't a huge fan of the anime because the dude looked so old compared to the girl but other than that I was fairly enjoyable. Amazing it's been 3 years already. Really sad she died at only 31....

The announcement doesn't say, but for someone so young, suicide was the first possibility that came to my mind. I certainly hope that wasn't the case though.
RIP.

She was also working on the game I Doll U for Otomate which is why I wondered if she had overworked herself to die that young.

that, accident, or sudden severe illness. all three are pretty crappy things, but you have to admit in most cases suicide would be the crappiest of the three.

I'd like to ask why and what happened, but if they don't state the cause of death... the higher possibility it implies suicide. I hope not though.
InuBoku finished in February this year I recall? I don't want to jump to wild guesses, but if she happened to know her condition (maybe sickness) or she planned to have suicide (which I hope not) she probably ended the manga because of that.

And the year continues with another sad death of someone in the industry. And another that was far too young.

She had just started her Mahō Shōjo manga. It had just gotten a drama CD. I had seen her on Twitter at least a month ago.
The tears won't stop. She's still my favorite mangaka because of Dear. I had the honor of having a short conversation with her online.
She made quite an impact in the anime and manga world. Her Watanuki plushies are STILL being produced. She will never be forgotten. At least, not by me.
Sorry for the sappy post. She was a great author.
