NEWS: Sentai Filmworks Adds Ro-Kyu-Bu, Loups-Garous, ef

So awesome to see Ef: a tales of memories licensed at last Very Happy

They liked Ro-Kyu-Bu! so much, they licensed it after 1 episode...just wish they'd have given more details. I know they use TAN to stream some stuff, but is this a license for that or a physical release? Excited either way.

Also glad I held off on buying Clannad, since I figured it'd be popular enough to eventually warrant a BD.

I think I have all new respect for Sentai.

I'm so glad I didn't sink in and buy the BD boxset of ef and only bought the awesome DVD art box. I just knew that once the game was licensed, there was a greater chance for the anime, and my instincts told me to give a few more years.

I do hope ef gets a BD release, though, so I can delete the rips off my hard drive. I mean, I'll be buying it either way, but a BD and a dub would be nice.

memories was sooo much better than melodies but its good they got both of them. Ro-kyu-bu too early to really say if its any good but the fanservice in episode 1 was pretty lame. loups was interesting so its cool they got that. i don't suppor their prices tho..

All misses for me, but at least (other than Ro-Kyu-Bu), these acquisitions are a bit higher quality than their usual fare. I liked one half of ~ef~, and it was the part that wasn't 50 first dates.

Nice for ef, those should have been picked up a long time ago. Hope it also means BD for both series.

I wish more loli ecchi shows would be licensed. Even pedos need love sometimes

I won't be getting Ro-Kyu-BU, I didn't like the first episode at all, and I love moeblob and loli's. I'm not crazy about double dipping to get a BD so I might be getting Clannad BD's.

Nothing for me.

The only really exciting thing out of this con was Madoka Magica. There were a lot of other good announcements, but nothing else amazing.

Oh well, at least I got one thing. Hopefully Otakon brings even better news.

EDIT: That L-G movie sounds sort of interesting. Maybe I'll check that out.

Nice to see that someone finally picked up ef. I had almost given up hope on it being licensed.

I've heard good things about the effers, but I have to admit that none of these titles gave me raging boneage.

I knew that the TKOH was going to be really happy about ef: a tale of memories/melodies getting picked up. Very Happy

I am rather pleased with these new licenses, especially the Saiyuki OVA's.

Was going to get the Japanese Clannad set due to English subs, but no need now. Very Happy

Only shame... no more Gintama?
