| I am SO glad to see another Ai Morinaga title coming to the States, especially from a solid publishing company like Del Rey which will treat it right and hopefully NOT drop it before completion. |

| It should be noted that there is a manga called "Alive" in the encyclopedia, but it is NOT the one that has been licensed. |

| Bah. It's not the Alive manga (by Tsutomu Takahashi) that I was thinking of. Oh well. I guess it's a good thing I had a friend in Japan pick me up a copy. Though this one sounds interesting too. |

| It's about field hockey, not ice hockey. |

To tell the truth, it's a field hockey club that rarely plays hockey but spend their unlimited money supply to fool around [the country] instead. It's more or less a wacky version of Ouran High School Host Club, and it deliberately makes fun of Ouran and other titles with similar settings e.g. MariMite and Strawberry Panic. |

| Dissapointing. I thought Del Rey was supposed to be the "hip" manga publisher. Only Alive seems interesting. |

Meh... The "alive" in the encyclopedia is quite good... I was hoping for it to get licensed so i'd get another one-shot to add to my collection. |

Is it really necessary to spoiler tag that stuff? Anyhow, I've heard it described as "being about field hockey like Charlie's Angels is about law enforcement". Your description sounds more interesting though. |

| So is My Heavenly Hockey Club finished in Japan? If not, I wonder how Del Rey will release it. Will it be every 3 months like their regular titles and catch up to the series, or be every 5 months like in Japan? |

I'm very happy about Gokuraku Seishun Hockey Club being licensed! I've read the scanlations and though some parts seem like they've been ripped off host club, some parts are also really unique/good. Hana is not at all like Haruhi, at least, I think so.
And Del Rey licensing it makes me even happier. I already can't wait for Mamotte! Lollipop to come out in Feb of 2007. |
