Both Accel world sets on sale yes those were a big to buy! This sale has been fantastic so far but is it just me or have the Mega Deals felt a bit lacking so far? Its certainly super early and plenty more days but it just feels like the price and selection of the mega deals feels lacking compared to the other items that are added to the sale daily.

Hopefully we start to see some Funi LE's be part of the dailys sales as outside of the Space Dandy LE there hasn't been much of them on sale and I have a big wish list of them to buy Anime smile

Here's my maybe's so far:

Wolfsmund (don't really know anything about it, but someone hear highly recommended it, so why not)

Tiger and Bunny The Movie 2- Loved the original series, never saw the movie so may as well check it out

Super Gals- Heard some good things about this a long time ago, haven't heard much since. To any of ya reading, you recommend?

Ninja Scroll- I've seen it, and I enjoy enough in all its dumb shlock, might as well at least consider actually owning it.

My Beatiful Girl Mari- Heard good things and its only like $3 so why not

Gatchaman Complete Collection- Older anime can be hit or miss with me. Some are classics that I can still enjoy, some get boring to me REAL fast. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Worth checking out or skip it?

Open to any other recommendations too

The show is pretty good, although it's definitely designed for pre-teen/younger teen audiences.

Also, be aware that the second season never received an English dub.

Eyeing Golgo 13 TV and maybe Jinki:Extend. Otherwise, not much else grabbing my interest. Waiting on any additional titles of interest before I swoop in for it so I can milk free shipping. Have a whole month to bide my time for anything else of interest.

Got ever so briefly excited when I saw the Madoka movies...then I saw they were DVDs. Sad

I highly recommend Dirty Pair to anyone who just wants some fun times! ....IN SPACE!!! Think I got all the 80s stuff during a Nozomi sale, soooo worth it, man! I adore it! And better get both TV sets, the OVA set (which is basically more episodes), and if you want, the features set (I found that one to be the least worth it perhaps). I'd say to start with the TV set though.

And for any foodies out there, What Did You Eat Yesterday? has Fumi Yoshinaga's signature charm of gay guys and cooking. It even includes recipes allll over the place if you're actually into cooking for reals (I even photocopied one for my friend as she was reading it). It's split about 50-50 if you're curious (at least for the first 4 vols, I hear it starts leaning more towards human relationships at times after that, which is awesome). Ah, what the hell, just get all of the Fumi Yoshinaga there while you're at it. Ichigenme 1 (of 2, they have the other, just buy that one too) and Lovers in the Night are available for sale too. I don't care if you don't like yaoi, I don't really either, but she's special. You can literally skip all the sex scenes if it makes you uncomfortable and her manga are still sexy as hell (Ichigenme is a perfect example). Should be noted, What Did You Eat Yesterday? isn't a yaoi, if anyone is curious.

Ten bucks is an absolute steal for Simoun. Don't let the trashy cover fool you: this is an intensely cerebral show with excellent writing and a much more sophisticated understanding of sexuality than your average yuri anime.

Personally, I consider it one of the finest anime ever made, and if you're a fan of Revolutionary Girl Utena, Ursula Le Guin novels, or Mari Okada shows (she wrote several of the more psychologically intense episodes), I think you'll at least get your money's worth out of this one.

...also, wow, Madoka's on sale. Now there's something you don't see every day.

Yes, I absolutely second this! Unless seeing two animated people of the same gender kiss on a regular basis makes you somehow physically vomit, there is absolutely no reason not to watch this series! For the junk that Media Blasters seems to be content releasing these days, this is proof that they once actually had a really good catalog, and this is right at the top.

Poor Shangri-La, they can't even give you away. I can recommend the deal... just not the show. I mean it's a decent watch, just... well, that's about it.

Aside from that, that's some interesting deals from Funimation. School Rumble is one of the anime comedy classics and I have until the 30 to pick up Steins;Gate's unwanted older brother Chaos;Head.

I actually like that one better myself.

Is anyone else noticing how there are some items that are appearing on multiple days? Like those last few volumes of Tactics. Not that that's a bad thing, I thought it might have been a glitch or something at first.

Anyway, there's still nothing that catches my interest.

Biding my time for now with new snags. Nothing new worth snagging up for now.
