As far as I'm concerned, the Major can wear whatever she wants...or not. Wink

Loved that line in one of the SAC episodes where Kusanagi is wearing even less than usual after having fallen into some garbage and Aramaki says something like "Are you trying to get my attention?"

Not in the Stand Alone Complex universe, we see her as a child.

In the manga/movie universes, who knows? Razz (Maybe someone does. But I don't.)

So, what's so odd about this comic anyways? Don't all female cops dress like that? About the only thing ridiculous with the comic is seeing a woman firefighter. Absolutely absurd!

(I hope I don't need to say this, but that was very tongue in cheek)

I believe that this strip references much more: Sengoku Otome Momoiro Paradox may just be it. A show where a girl from present-day normal Japan transports to an alternate dimension of the past -specifically the Warring States period of Japan- where everyone's all female and really REALLY busty. You'll probably never look at Oda Nobunaga the same way again.
