In the current (January) edition of Diamond Previews the first volume of the following have been solicited for release in comic shops.
From Kodansha, Paradise Residence by Kosuke Fujishima author of Oh My Goddess! for release March 16th. From Viz Media, Shuriken & Pleats by Matsuri Hino author of Vampire Knight for release March 2nd. From Vertical Mysterious Girlfriend X for March 16th release From Yen Press Dimension W for March 16th release. |

TSRI listed Dimension W back at the beginning of the month, but it does raise the question: why don't we have manga solicitation threads? Heck, if people are interested, I'll weekly check TSRI's new product listings and post them!

It is possible that both dates are correct. Previews is the catalog put out by Diamond the only significant comic book distributor. It handles most if not all comic shops and any other retailer who orders through them. Yen Press is a imprint of a major book publisher. As such their primary distribution is through book channels. Their titles can show up in book stores before they get to comic shops. It is likely that TRSI deals with them directly and not through Diamond. Previews comes out once a month and usually lists all non digital manga coming two to three months in the future. While I can provide a complete listing from there each month, I suspect your listing items from TRSI will be more useful. I still buy most of my manga from the comic shop by preorder since I get a 30% discount for buying in bulk. |

Yeah, I wasn't even thinking that LCBS might be getting the books later than the "usual outlets." I only ever go to mine to get ElfQuest every other month!
Anyway, once I get home from work, I'll compile a list of what's currently on the new items page on TSRI. I know there's Yen's March and April slate on there, since I just added those to my personal buy list, and I think there's some more there as well, and we can go from there. |

Sounds like a plan. I was mostly intending to provide a heads-up on a couple of new series.
The ship dates in Previews tend to be flexible but do give you an idea of when a title should be available. I'm not sure just how many still get their manga from comic shops. When I started, the comic shop was the only place I could get manga locally. |

I don't follow that many manga or novels so I really only look for new volumes when I remember.
I'm in the same boat, I completely missed the memo that said they licensed Sekirei, something I've wanted to read for a long time. |

Dark Horse solicited volume 4 in this month's Previews. Since there was only 14 volumes out before they went to omnibus versions, volume 5 will have to have new material. They seem to be consistently soliciting them every three months. |

That's good to hear. I guess the fifth omnibus would include volumes 13-15? A stand-alone release of 15 would be nice, but I suppose it's better than nothing. |
