This was basically a dud for me, too. The first segment didn't make me laugh once, and I was mostly lukewarm on the second half. I think an OVA of the "X.5." variety would have been better for this series than one set after the ending. Probably the weakest episode overall.

I think one thing I would comment is that make a self reference that it is a clip show which could be seen as bad, does not actually excuse it if they are effectively doing so. Although I was somewhat humoured by the reading things into interactions between that girl and the other guy, and I got a faint sense of chills from the ghost bit even if none of it was new.

I know that it was a joke, and I am not even American, but nose thing felt a bit much.

worse than a ranma recap, I only enjoyed the amercan segment for all the wrong reasons (the blonde chick)
