Is this where I can talk about surveys? Because I can't find the right thread to. About the new survey:
"This is your chance to vote for the best candidates in the US Federal Election, we've got Ranma Saotome and Shinobu Oshino for candidates (among others). Oh, and some serious questions about Clinton, Sanders and Drumpf."
Way to be disgustingly bias. A news site - as you lot claim to be - should be neutral. You are being extremely obvious about who you hate. You should probably stay out of US politics too, as sadly everyone on this site appears to be a socialist (according to the results) so you'll never be fair to the other side. Best to just not talk about it. I'm losing more and more respect for this site every day. You guys should just stick to anime/manga/Japan news, it's the only thing you're good at.

I assume this is about the "Drumpf" name, correct?
That was unintentional and I apologize for it. I have the "Drumpf" Chrome plugin and it converted my input to Drumpf as I was cutting & pasting from one window to another.
I was actually really careful to keep the survey as free of bias as possible, so it's rather annoying that my efforts were thwarted by a plugin.

Wait... are you telling us we should stay out of politics because our readers are left-leaning? There are a lot of very good reasons we should stay out of politics, and that isn't one of them.
Also, don't forget that you're seeing the international results, so 28% of those voters are outside the USA (that number will grow overnight), and obviously that will push the numbers farther to the left (the United States is fairly conservative compared to the rest of the world).

This is ridiculous.
A question where all three options are the same, implying no other views are valid.
On a serious topic.
That has very little if anything to do with the topic of the site.
Yeah, this is a new low for you.
Edit: I just saw that you say you're trying to be unbiased.
Sure.

Did you read the question after it ???
Did you notice that there was also a question where people had the opportunity to vote for Haruhi Suzumiya ?
Has it occurred to you that maybe not all the questions were serious ?

Oh hey! There are two complaints in this thread.
Both accuse me of being biased. One of them accuses me of being Anti-Trump. The other accuses me of being Anti-Democrat (I think).
Not quite opposites, but...

The poll is hilarious! Voted for Justin Sevakis. I only know him and Zac Bertschy through this site and Twitter, but Justin comes off as less snarky, which is a bit more presidential in my eyes. Also, most of the other "candidates" aren't American!

“Sometimes you need a little wishful thinking just to keep on living.”
If US demographics were the same as ANN's...
“Never underestimate the ability of the human animal to adapt to its environment.”
Drumpf.
The fate of destruction is also the joy of rebirth.
Trump's motto?
"God's in his heaven, all's right with the world"
If Clinton/Sanders wins general.
Man fears the darkness, and so he scrapes away at the edges of it with fire.

Was a little disappointed that the major Libertarian candidates that I follow, like Gary Johnson, weren't on the list.
Also that in the "What Best Describes You?" question, there wasn't any option for Libertarian. Which would generally be further left than most democrats on social issues, and further right than most Republicans on fiscal issues.

That's a good point. I don't know that much about how the Libertarian party works, but Gary Johnson is very interesting (and as the former governor of New Mexico, arguably has more executive experience than any other candidate) A lot more people will be paying attention to him than a third party candidate would get in any other year.

He ran in 2012, but some states refused to put him on the ballet, based on my understanding. He scraped by with only about 1% of the vote, but maybe we'll see a surge this year. I think a lot of people are still too afraid of their vote not counting to vote 3rd party though.

I think it might actually be accusing you of being anti-Hillary/pro-Bernie.

Your decision to disallow comments was wise, I think.
