My comment still stands. Your name. was a concept he'd had for a long time before it finally came to fruition, and I've heard in previous interviews, while he knows it's not perfect, he's still proud of it, and it went more or less in the direction he wanted it to. I'd love it to be nominated. In my eyes, it'd be just reward as a culmination of all his work up until this point. He deserves that much, at least. |

This should be done in yen terms. Since there is no inflation in Japan. Spirited Away grossed I believe a put 35 billion yen worldwide while Your Name grossed about 32 billion yen in China plus Japan.
