Hmm. This is one of those romantic comedy manga that has gone stale over the years.
It's funny. Skip Beat! came out in the same year as Pastel, but Skip Beat! has managed to keep the attention of its fans better then Pastel after 15 years. Where did Pastel go wrong???

I remember checking this out when I just started college. I thought it had ended ages ago too.
Anyone following its development? Last I remember, it was pretty slice-of-life for a romance series. |

This is the manga I really wish had an anime by now. I am up to date on the ever-slow scanlations (ch. 145). I don't remember what chapters they are, but the closest Mugi got to getting laid in those chapters is sleeping next to not with Yuu. Beyond it running for so long, I wonder why they just couldn't move it to another magazine.

I remember I had finished reading parallel (same author) the same week I picked up this manga, I heavily disliked th wishy washy mc in this one so I dropped it right away. everything felt like a rehash of parallel but with worse characters.

While I am pretty sure Mugi stays with Yuu, I hope they get married. Their relationship blossomed enough for it to become spouses.
