Nintendomination! Funny how a cult classic like NieR outsold a launch title like Zelda. 2Booty > Zelda booty.

That Switch software. A lot of people must have bought digital. lol

Horizon #2. Nice.

No Minecraft. Sad

Switch caught up to PS4s 2017 numbers and obviously surpassed Xbox One's less than 80k numbers.

Congratz Nintendo for the launch!

Sadly Disgaea 5 still did not make the charts, considering it's available in English which I expect the worldwide fans to contribute a notable amount. Sold about 5k accordingly to famitsu.

17 March will be Switch's 2nd shipment in Japan, but the momentum may be consumed by 3DS's MHXX.

I'm just glad to see the PS Vita having sales at all.

Zelda actually is more popular overseas then it is in Japan. It has never really sold well there in past. I don't have sources to back up since I'm lazy.

This is still a solid opening for Nintendo's newest console all in all. ZELDA BREATH OF THE WILD deserves every ounce of praise. It's earned its #1 spot. Combine that with the WiiU version and it's over 200k.

Zelda is more popular in the west so I can understand the kind of low numbers.

But congrats for the Switch anyways.

Heh, the Switch sold more than four times all of the other systems combined for that week.

For Disgaea 5, I'll wait until the official American release. I'll wait so I don't have to pay for import fees, shipping fees, and ages-long delivery.

Zelda is actually still pretty popular back in Japan, it's just that it's not the video game cornerstone in Japan that it is in the west. The west love everything about the franchise (except for Tingle, we hate Tingle).
