Yeah, I don't think I'll ever own any of these. Watch them online perhaps(Not saying I do.), but own them? That's just relationship suicide right there. Bring a girl home and not only does she see an adult film/series, but it's animated. That's gonna be a tough one to explain, especially considering the content this stuff typically has.

ever heard of a lock and key?

while we are on the subject...it would be interesting to see how the hentai market would do, a lot of things have changed in the last 13 years including the way a hentai works.

ever heard of women that are not stuck up [expletive]? I got (at least ) two married friends who watch the ocasional hentai with the wife to spice things up. (and to support your point, lol, another friend whose wife won't even let him watch gits)

I don't watch Hentai but I think t would be interesting to see what happens when you upscale it on to a Blue Ray or if there would be any kind of dip in quality. To me it's like putting series from the 90s on Blue Ray it may look better but a large amount of the errors may show as well.

Without getting too into it - I am very happy that the possibility of modern H anime getting an uncensored release is finally back. Here's hoping we get more uncut Teruaki Murakami stuff brought over!

The statistical-average non-anime-fan woman is probably going to assume that any anime that's not Pokémon-tier is animated [child] pornography anyway, so it's not like having actual hentai will make that much of a difference.

They're not in the business of losing money, and wanting to make a profit doesn't make them spineless. It's not 2002 anymore, and anime companies can't count on dubbed hentai getting sales from casual browsers in video stores.
