It'll be interesting to see how many people will be attending this one. I have no idea how large the fanbase for American comics is in Japan, considering they already have a robust comics industry there. I wonder if it's comparable, proportionally, to manga fans in the United States versus American comics as a whole.
But yeah, American comic book artists are greatly underappreciated. There's a lot of very nice-looking stuff and very talented artists working for not-that-much. |
