Our friends at Anime Limited have really been gathering momentum in the domain of theatrical releases. Like all their previous screenings, posters for Napping Princess have been present in certain major Tube stations for over a week now, something that has become a regular occurrence even beyond the decline of Ghibli.

Lex Woutas hasn't done an anime dub in over a decade.

Great Anime Limited! Now if you wouldn't mind releasing the dub cast list for "A Silent Voice".

Yes!

Another decent-sounding feature film gets picked up!

There's gonna be some nice stuff out on disc over the next year.

TV anime seems to be in a doldrum but I'm really surprised by some of the feature films being licensed and exhibited now.
We're in a golden age for theatrical anime now -- both at the theater and on home video with revivals and license rescues... Enjoy it while it lasts!

Now, if only some company would pick up the licenses for the out-of-print Satoshi Kon features and maybe some decent remasters of the older pre-Paprika films might be in order, too?
Sorry to sound like a broken record but I can only hope some of the older, better films get picked up again, too.
Turnaround times on films from East to West are still better today than they're generally been in the past. 10months to 2 years average is still much better than 3-, 5-years or never like before.
And well over half the features are being dubbed which only helps despite the naysayers... (I still want Japanese audio with subs as an option, though.)
