Ultimately not too surprised about the production values. Poor SHAFT has been an overworked and over-scheduled dumpster fire for the last year or so. I hope they are able to gain their footing again. Sad
I'm excited to see this regardless of the fairly lukewarm reaction though, to be honest. I guess when something is in a genre that I tend to really enjoy inherently, like romance, slice-of-life, and coming-of-age, I'm pretty easily entertained.

Sad to hear about the production values. Shaft is probably terribly overworked and didn't manage their schedule properly (wouldn't be the first time.) That or they spent all their time on Owari pt 2. which was great production wise so not complaining Wink

Still excited to see it as it does look intriguing.

So I heard DAOKO got picked for having the voice image similar to nazuna for this movie
