I guess it's two weeks old if you consider information being tossed around fifth-hand from completely unreliable sources on fansub message boards to be legit places to get news, yeah. I heard about this a bit ago but it came from some fansub group that was notorious for handing out false information. ANN doesn't publish things like that; we wait for official, legit announcements, like this. So don't be snotty about it being "old". |

Oh my god Zac how dare you attack the all knowing fansub gods....do you not value your life? Don't you understand that fansub groups give us the true version of Naruto.....the one where every other word is swear word....That said I am certain that you (Answerman) are going get some email about this, and probably some thank you letters from fans who think you stop the fillers. On a serious note, I am glad to hear that fillers are over because I am tired of everyone complaining about how "their" show is being ruined. Encyclopedia entry gives several seiyuus for this too, have these been officially announced too? I can't see any reason they'd want to change them, but it's always possible.

Wow, and here I thought the show would be cancelled for fans abandoning it during the filler seasons before it ever reached this stage. Of course, more amusing is the fact that we now have yet another parallel that can be drawn between Naruto and Dragon Ball, adding sequel series from the same source manga (DB > DB & DBZ, Naruto > Naruto & "Wind Chronicles") and a time jump between arcs to the pre-existing laundry list of both valid and painfully superficial similarities that already existed beforehand.

It's a good thing they stopped working on the Naruto Part I filler and have moved on with the Part II filler.
