You missed Zeo by a few years...

Though, they had the Black Ranger be Black again? Can wait to see what that means for color codename thing.
Bouken Silver, I'm looking at you...

Watch the anime he likes be Digimon Savers, or other shows that Disney/Saban and Bandai have.

that anime isn't a fad.

funny, i thought something mentioned prolifically on Power Rangers was a good signal of a fad.

But i do agree anime isn't a fad, on the fickle surface of MTV America possibly but underneath the die hard fans who complain when a dub says a character has 596 backhairs when the sub he downloaded mentions 569 will be there so long as they live, even if they don't produce offspring.

Aren't there a couple of English dub VAs who have been Power Rangers?

Johnny Yong Bosche was the second black ranger, and was around for most of the MMPR's saga. Known better as Vash the Stampede and Renton from Eureka 7.

only one i know, but he is in enough to count as at least 3 power rangers.

fawhoooosh!

Haha, I still remember the AnimeIowa 2005 cosplay... With Johnny Yong Bosch in attendance, a Vash cosplayer got on stage and said something to the effect of "I'm tired of being Vash, I'm morphing!" and he took off his Vash coat to reveal a Black Ranger suit underneath. Anime hyper Johnny got up in the front row all like "YEAH!!" to a bunch of cheers. Anime hyper Good times...

Patricia Ja Lee (who played Cassie in Power Rangers Turbo and In Space)voice acted a few anime series such as Gatekeepers and El Hazard: The Alternative World. Wendee Lee voiced as Scorpina in MMPR... Barbara Goodsman was Rita Repulsa... Scott O'Neill did some roles as some monsters... Some several others... Don't remember their names right now.

Shocked Didn't realize Wendee Lee and Patricia Ja Lee were on MMPR. And it's Barbara Goodson. I think this new season will be better than Mystic Force, as I've read about the new season and seen the commercial, it's certainly different from past plots. And did you mean Scott McNeil? I searched for Scott O'Neill and found nothing on him.

if they do mention anything about it in the series it will be around episode 7. In Boukenger, a manga Bouken-Red reads has some influence on future events of the episode.

As a rather devout PR fan myself, it should be noted that, even if the Red Ranger is an otaku (Disney's own pages are prone to BS), it probably won't really be stressed upon after the first few episodes, given writing trends (or lack thereof) set by the producer since SPD.
