Excellent news that we should be seeing Slayers this year. Hopefully we'll get Slayers Next in early 2008 at the latest with Slayers Try by the end of 2008.
Still, Navarre seems rather inept here. This isn't the first time they've blathered things that FUNimation hadn't cleared (as I found out the hard way). |

| Now, is their release of Slayers supposed to be just a re-release of the CPM dub or are they re-dubbing it? |

| I've been waiting for the Beck announcement ever since it hit fan-subs. This is a glorious day. |

| Huh. The announcement of the Desert Punk box set kind of caught me off guard. It made me rethink my purchase of the DVD bundle from Right Stuf, given that it actually comes with the box, and it's tentative price is lower than what I paid for the bundle. Depending on what I can fetch for the DVDs, there might be a double buy on the way, if only to satisfy the artbox freak in me. |

Have you received the bundle yet? Because if you haven't, you might be able to cancel the order and wait until the Box Set arrives. And that way, you don't have to pay twice. |

Nah, too late; everything I ordered in December already shipped. When the holiday specials started, I would wait for Right Stuf to unveil their latest deal, then buy it then and there if it appealed to me just so I could miss the shipping delays that would inevitably come. Besides, if I do buy it again, I would buy it online during a DDD sale or something. Combo that with the fact that I would sell back to Suncoast, whose buyback offers are generally within a couple of dollars of the offers SecondSpin.com gives (at the moment, $30). |

The original word was when CPM lost the license Funi felt it was too important a title to let vanish which was was Funi grabbed it, but it was going to be pretty much a straight release-CPM's dub & everything. If they re-dubbed it, they's have to raise the price & at that time, they wanted to put no money into it.
Can't wait for David Moo's Xellos? |

Part of me wants to buy Peach Girl, but another part of me doesn't, which is essentially how I felt about the manga (love-hate). Anybody want to help me get off the fence?
Why does shoujo romance have to be so difficult? |
