| A little depressing for me to admit, but I changed my vote from Death Note to Negima. Negima, in my opinion, has really evolved and improved, and is enjoyable by fans of most genres. On the other hand, Death Note, while still awesome, has seemed to lose it for me in more recent volumes (I am only keeping up to date with the American release for Death Note, so I don't know if it is still that way) |

| Negima really deserves to win something. The fight scene in Ch.158 (Negi and Chao fighting across Time utilizing Casseopias) is awesome and a front runner for best action sequence of the year. |

| Gosh I feel bad for the folks at the Awards. Just when they were starting to fix all of their problems this happens. I hope this is the last of it. |

so yeah this doesn't change my vote at all. I still suppurt Death Note.
But it seems as if its not fair to these two because they came in so late. Not everyone is going to see this or know to change their vote.
Oh well. Next year should be much better. |

...since it can't be much worse?
I hope the awards ceremony itself runs smoothly. |

Yeah, that was a LOT of fun to read, though a little hard to keep up with at times. Akamatsu has really improved the way he portrays actions scenes in his manga. |

| Man, this whole popularity contest is just rife with massive amounts of fail. You'd think it can't get much lamer than this, but I know it's going to. |

| Awards in general aren't that good. At least a popularity contest is out in the open as the amount of backroom dealing that goes on in american awards. |
