It's not a personal attack. I just find him intriguing.

In order to help protect a certain business, I've gone and cleaned up the thread. Let's just keep this as our little secret, eh?

I'm confused. What happened now? (Wasn't in this thread for some time...I think. I dunno. Had good wine for the first time in a while.)

Its ok. Nothing happened. Its just the wine making you think something happened. Shhh, go back to sleep it never happened. Instead dream your favorite dream of Aniplex catering to your every desire...

Thanks Tony K. Very Happy

The Nisemonogatari set looks amazing and the pricing feels...well... better than Aniplex's other release at the very least. What is up with Oreimo though? Are they treating that as an import? cause it sure feels like it at that price point.

It's a direct import from Japan. Pricing wise, you are better off ordering the set directly from the likes of Amazon Japan and HMV.

I'll be getting Nise, natch. No need to double dip on OreImo since I already own the DVD LE. I do regret that my version doesn't have the character commentaries, though.

That's what I suspected. It will help alleviate some of the backlash that will be coming from those who bought the Limited Edition DVD sets. If they would've come out with a domestic release, all hell would've broke loose. lol

The pricing actually looks worse than the Bake release. You get four fewer episodes and, considering it's not mentioned at all when Aniplex always does if it's included, no character commentaries for only $30 less than Bake.

That's true. I didn't do the breakdown though. From a per episode stand point, Aniplex will always be high in comparison to Funimatin, Sentai, NIS....etc. I've stopped trying to make any sense of it.

Yeah, Bakemono and Nisemono are probably about as reasonable as we can expect Aniplex to get...unfortunately. Man I wanted some Oreimo blu rays too, but can't justify that price tag. Is there a point to the "A" and "B" side pics? I figured it was supposed to show the flip version of the covers...but they look the same to me lol.

Argh, Aniplex gets all the shows I want! Damn it all!

I don't really care about the price from a per episode standpoint, but it annoys me to see them not subbing the commentaries when they did it for Bake.
