Actually, this isn't the first time they've made manga-themed toilet paper.

Hello Kitty toilet paper has been produced for years:

You can also get toilet paper with Pinoko, from Osamu Tezuka's Black Jack. They sell it at the Tezuka Manga Museum in Takarazuka, and other Tezuka retail outlets in Japan:

Don't know if it's the case in Japan, but here in Korea, people use toilet paper for facial tissue paper (Kleenex). In fact, it was hard for me to find facial tissues when I first got here, so I just stuck to toilet paper anyway. I would TOTALLY display this on at least my kitchen counter.

TP isn't strong enough for nose blows, but touchups are ok.

Still, the guy is a little too late with his idea. Don't US Publishers already Manga Toilet Paper?

Tokyopop does, under their OEL line.

Although they keep releasing it like it's a book, instead of a roll.

I wish the Azumanga Daioh Manga would become toilet paper. That one deserves to be s*** on.

(Love the anime btw)

Well, the Japanese have all the sweet toilets. Makes sense that they'd get the sweet toilet paper.

... I think it's cool! =D

I've had a Toto Washlet for a few years now so maybe I should complement it with the right kind of toilet paper!

Actually, I'm assuming the stories are self contained and not part of a larger arc?
Because, what if my wife goes to the toilet and reads the good part or I miss an important plot point?! That would be pretty crappy...

Funny, I ALWAYS use TP to blow my nose. I prefer it over tissues, which just bug me for some reason. What you do, is make sure you fold the TP enough to get it thick enough, you know.

Anyway, on the subject, I think this manga TP idea is ridiculous, but whatever.

I thought TP stood for Tokyopop! Silly me. Smile Anyway, that's his career down the pan then.

Haha that would suck. Luckily they are probably just self-contained 4-panal comics. Anime hyper Although it would be annoying if half the strip was cut off and you won't get the joke.

The world will surely end when Square Enix produces Life-Size Gunblades and Real Life Sex Dolls of the Female Characters.

I seriously want this.

I got a rack in the john full of reading material for when I make a deposit. I could save space with this manga TP! Someone needs to license this TP!
(And while you're at it, license a few of those neat japanese toilets to go with it.)

But I wonder, would I find it in the supermarket TP aisle, or in the bookstore manga section?

Toto has a full line of Washlets for North America.
http://www.washlet.com/default.asp

I got Chloe myself (C100). Embarassed
I love the fact that they gave them sexy girl names!
Very Japanese.

p.s. They are even opening up a factory in Mexico to keep up with the rising demand in North America!
