Well anywhere in Canada is a bit of a sweeping statement, here in Vancouver it's not a problem, at least two independent comic shop sell it If all else fails, get it from Amazon.
Although this volume probably wasn't quite as strong as the previous one, it was still very good. My favourite story was actually the organ business, I don't think it dragged on too long and I like the contemporary aspects of the Iraq war in it. My only complaint would be that I really wanted to see how they managed to steal that body from the US military base
But my favourite thing in Kurosagi are the characters... especially Numata and Karatsu. I love their refreshing look on bodies and death - partly this is cultural and in our culture death is such a taboo - and the way how the guys always end up helping the penniless victims. And some of the gags in the ear-story were just priceless.
This is really good stuff, I'm always eagerly waiting for the next volume |
