| wow I can't wait to see it! I am a bit worried though - I liked the drawing style in the first 13 episodes compared to the one in the OVA.. I noticed the colors became more solid, which is not that bad, but everyone's face changed a bit.. |

I'm excited by this news. I love Genshiken, and I'm glad that another season's coming out. I don't own the anime, but I do have the manga, and it's really enjoyable.
I can't wait until October!

So here's a question: What were the sales like for the first Genshiken here in the US? Is it likely that the second season or the OVAs or even that Kujibiki Unbalance will come over any time soon?
Also, would it be likely to get the full release treatment (artbox, extras on disc, dub, etc.) or would it more likely be a stripped-down "we don't think it will sell so we won't add any selling points and we'll blame the fans after it fails" release?
I've been thinking of getting the first Genshiken but I hesitated because I heard it ended right before going into the best parts of the manga. |
