| I just wanted to note- the Stone Bridge Press translation of "Milky Way Railroad/Night on the Galactic Railroad" is considered a bit of a hack-job, considering all of the characters' names were changed from Italian names to random Japanese names (because a Japanese author writing about Western characters is "confusing"!). Check out some of the customer reviews on Amazon for more details. |

That's really really sad. I love this book.
For anyone interested in a largely intact translation, Kodansha released one a while ago for Japanese learning English under the title "Night Train to the Stars" that could probably be ordered via amazon.co.jp. |

| Well, hopefully, they'll update the translation. |
