| While looking through my DVD recommendations over at Amazon.com today, I came across this.
It's called "Sailor Moon Sailor Stars: The Complete Official Boxset" and is actually supplied by Amazon.com itself, not just some Marketplace bootlegger. The rampant bootlegs on the Marketplace are bad enough, but to think that Amazon itself is selling bootlegs is just a bit frightening. I guess this means buyers beware, you can't even trust Amazon itself to sell you legit items anymore. This has me so angry that I'm not sure I'll be able to bring myself to purchase anything from Amazon anymore. Particularly not when DeepDiscount sells books too now. Edit: Fixed a typo.  Wow. Amazon selling a bootleg. I never thought I'd see that happen. Hopefully they'll will catch the hint from all the user reviews and take it down. |

| Wow Amazon what have you done, I am surprised I must say that I am no longer going to support this kind of company if this is the way the site will be. I don't order much from Amazon but I now know that there supporting bootlegs, I am done supporting their site. | ||||

I like how some people gave it five stars  . It's really too bad that such a huge online store is selling bootlegs. Most people aren't going to realize that the "Complete Official Boxset" is a bootleg... and most probably won't care. I guess I won't be buying anything from Amazon anymore. |

| Adding your opinion here is great and all, but why not add it on Amazon's own sales page? Seems like a more effective way to get the word out, at least to me. | ||||

That's what I did although Amazon doesn't appear to be putting up any more reviews perhaps they don't want all that bad press..... |

| This isn't really new; I spotted a Mind Game bootleg on Amazon a few months ago and was similarly disappointed. They always used to be good about weeding out shady products, but it seems like things are beginning to slip in. The best we can do is report it to the website and help keep rampant piracy under control. | ||||

Hopefully they do. I just recently saw a bootleg Hellsing boxset on Amazon, I wonder if they're even aware about this. |

| Yeah, when I sold my kidneys on ebay, I had to sell them as souvenirs.
On a serious note, I don't really mind that Amazon ended up with a bootleg on their site. I think it is something that is bound to happen on occasion. What I think is more important is how long it takes them to take it off their site. |
