| I know some people who are going to be mad, especially considering the ninth and tenth books are apparently a two-parter.
(And was someone playing around with the front page's CSS? >_>) |

Are the novels even licensed yet? I would think that those would of been snatch up by Tokyo Pop considering that they've been releasing a fair amount of novels. And I'd have to think (as much as I like to think .hack/Zero is) that the MoHS novels have got to be the biggest unlicensed item. |

| I imagine they're in a bidding war, like Twelve Kingdoms was. | ||||

| I think there's more to it than a simple bidding war. If you look at how the anime is being released, then you'll see that it's Kadokawa themselves that have brought the series over. Bandai is just a partner to help with production and distribution (I might be simplifying that a bit). Could Kadokawa be planning something similar for the novels/manga? I don't know, but it could explain why no company has gotten/announced that series yet. | ||||

Yeah more then likely that's what's going to happen, well that is according to the Otakon report from last year.
[Click link in quote to see report] Well this year is here I wonder if anyone has got the rights to distribute the manga/novels, I am sure there plenty of folks who wouldn't mind check out either medium type. |

| But they let Tokyopop grab Trinity Blood and Welcome to the NHK? Or maybe they changed their minds after that...
Interesting. |

Well, TOKYOPOP has close ties with Kadokawa anyway, so them getting those titles is kind of a given. What's telling are the titles that TP hasn't gotten from Kadokawa yet. I'm not just talking about Haruhi, but Kadokawa's other big franchises... the "Blood+" and "Fate/Stay" series. You'd think that Fate/Stay would've come out when the anime did. |
