| TRSI just shipped my volume 5 the other day. I can't wait to see it for myself after reading this review. I'm so glad I started reading this series recently. Who would have thought that a shonen series about baking would actually be so entertaining? |

I know! I never thought I'd watch/read Yakitate!! Japan based on summaries. They bake bread for pete's sake. But this is one of my favorite shonen right now. I love the parodies of the whole shonen genre. I need to catch up on it, I'm only on volume 2. (Actually, I need to catch up on a lot of titles, but that's another story... ) |

Yeah, I avoided Yakitate simply because it was about baking. But upon reading a recent "Right Turn Only" and seeing that it got such a good review, I finally decided to pick up the first volume, and I was hooked almost instantly. Oh the parodies! Good stuff. I quickly bought and read 2-4. Yakitate is easily amongst my top 10 favorite manga now. |

Those come later :3
I remember watching this in the anime. It did seem like a sharp left turn, but one I think was worth making. |

Yukino's a bitch. It had to be said.

I wasn't sure on whether I should laugh or feel repulsed at that part.

Yaoi implications are awesome.
Right now Yakitate!! Japan is one of the most entertaining serial manga that's available in English; though I wonder if Hashiguchi is able to keep this up for... twenty-six volumes. Yikes. |

Yay Yakitate!!! I was on a buying spree when I picked this one up... but after reading the first one it's something I'm looking forward to at every release The characters are memorable and colorful. And the complex plots aren't too bad, but you're always wondering what will come up next!
And it makes you wanna go straight to Saint Germain's and eat bread |

Yakitate!! Japan is one of my favorite anime ever. I saw it at a con and fell in love. I'm so glad the manga is being released now, since the anime isn't licenced in America. It's great! Find and watch the anime if you can, it's just as good as the manga. |

| Kawachi was always my fave character in the show. We can relate to him because he doesn't have the unbridled genius of Azuma so the success he obtains is all due to hard work so when his dreams come tumbling down on him, it truly is heartbreaking. It was a surprising moment but one I'm glad was included. It just makes this manga stand out even more. |
