Aw, man... Too bad she's not performing here in the US. It's one of my life's dreams to meet Yoko Kanno in person and see her in concert.

This the only time, in my entire life, that I wish I lived in South Korea.

I wish I could go, too! I have tons of YK songs on my i-Pod. I am quite a fan.

Why Seoul?!

That's fine. Although, I would attempt to go if I knew the Seatbelts (the group that has actually preformed their music before) were set to preform, but they haven't been mentioned so I doubt it.

Don't let those temptations flood your mind. Many of us gave in to the temptation and have been regretting it for quite some time!

As for me, this happens 10 days after I move home! YEEEEAAARRRGGGHHH! I always miss everything by a few days!

I ditto that if the Seatbelts were there I'd start trying to scrape together money. I'd probably fail and lay around in tears as the concert took place, cursing it not being televised on American TV and cursing America for not appreciating real music.

Mai Yamane wasn't mentioned in the news, but she will also perform. It's been a while since this piece of news was announced, and I guess ANN was just making sure it wasn't a joke of sorts.

Kanno's main team of musicians ARE the Seat Belts. She's been working with those guys for a long time now, even before Cowboy Bebop. I have a good hunch that, even if the whole team is not present, Tsuneo Imahori at least should make an appearance.

Man I wish I could go see her perform. She's an anime music icon. She did all the music for Cowboy Bebop, all the Macross music, all the Ghost in the Shell music, some Escaflowne, all the Rahxephon, some of the Wolfs Rain, and did some work on Daker Than BLACK, Jin Roh, and Card Captor Sakura. Her name is pretty much synonymous with anime music. I wondered what happened to her, as she hadnt done a performance in a few years, but now I guess she wants to perform again, and Im happy that she does. I used to go to all of her performances in Japan and Korea, and I am one of her biggest fans. I am TOTALLY gonna go see her perform on June 20.

Yoko ROCKS Not to mention MAAYA SAKAMOTO from Escaflowne OST a,d Origa from Ghsot in the Shell OST is gonna be there too. Its gonna be SWEET!
