That was a cool interview. I wish I had been there. I guess I would have screamed along with the crowd. Heheheh!!!

I've watched 'Excel Saga' and 'Puni Puni Poemy' really hilarious stuff! And I love good crazy comedies. I would have loved to have met him. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad But I guess 'Nabeshin' is a better way to remember his name. So many folks get his name mixed up with 'Shinichiro Watanabe' and I can see why. Now I see how he came up with it. He's definitely on my list of favorite (anime) comedy directors.

1. Akitaro Daichi (more familiar with his comedies and other works)
2. Nabeshin (Excel and Puni are a good enough start)
3. Kiyohiko Azuma (There isn't much of him, but of the two series 'Azumanga Daioh' and 'Yotsuba&', his work holds enough comedy power to rank him up there)
4. Satoru Akahori (he's got some funny stuff and he's old school)

I need to get some more people. Wink
