Does anyone know if the chapters from the graphic novels of Naruto released under "Naruto Nation" later this year are also going to be serialized in Shonen Jump?

I think it would actually be really interesting if they pulled a "DBZ" on the manga and just started running chapters of the Shippuden-era manga in Jump.

They are going to be running extra chapters starting next month, but in January they are going to skip way ahead. So people who only read the magazine are going to missing a decent portionof the manga.

Really? I thought they were going to catch up in JUMP too... but that's, well, interesting choice. I guess they're banking on getting people to buy those tankobons then. I guess that's one way of doing it.

I always thought that the whole concept of getting people to buy the same material twice was a stroke of genius. Because you want to read it as soon as possible - get the mag. You want to read it again in a convenient format - get the collected volumes.

They are trying to get as far as possible, but since they've been going so slowly for so long, it just isn't possible in the time frame they now have.
