... anyway, the guy gets to be cuddled by a girl for up to an hour. Of course they're going to be paying fantasy-prices. |

Nice to see our American Way of life supplanting itself into Japan. I mean, i'd at least would expect shoplifting in the US, not Japan.
Japan gives us vagabond kids reading magazines and manga and not paying for them, destroying them in the process; we send them shoplifting techniques. Fair Trade I see. |

What? Are you under the impression that the Japanese are incapable of petty crime or that somehow it doesn't happen there?
Man, the romanticized view of Japan is scary sometimes. |

| I just want to buy stuff from Japan without any hassle, meaning I wish there was an online store, IN ENGLISH, that I could just use paypal at and get stuff straight from Japan at my door. Does that exist? |

So how's that "War ON [Blank]" doin' for ya'?
I mean; I worry because, $45 or $200, I'd stil get some tacky prostitute who not only won't help me out in order to enjoy myself, but brings her mental luggage I don't need.
And those "circus clowns" who run scams? There's going to be so much hell to pay when the weather changes, it would probably burn off a limb or two. |

Having experienced both, I can tell you the former is a far safer bet if you're afraid of getting mugged or something. Honestly though, something like this shouldn't get in your way of going. I always have a hell of a lot of fun when I go there. I went there about a year ago. Had no problems with anybody at all. If you really want to go, you should go. |
Well, this article made it sound bad. Sorta like "Don't go to Akihabara! It's getting dangerous!" I really didn't expect to hear that Akihabara was having this type of crime. I would have expected that the crime had to do with bootlegers and rip-off's but not this. Don't worry i'm still considering.

Which can double in the next 2 years. What's your point? |

As for the ear cleaning shop, that would totally put me in 7th heaven. Any type of contact by another person in or around the ears totally turns me into a purring kitten. Plus being able to use a girl's lap as a pillow. Yeah it's kind of a novelty service but I'd pay for it. |
