Sounds like this new incarnation MIGHT be better than the previous two. I LOVE the look of the Mach 6! I want it! Laughing

Non-gas guzzling race car? I hope I'm wrong, but it sounds a little too politically correct for me.

The original was my first exposure to Japanese animation when I was a wee lad, and holds a special place in my heart (remember, back then, the term 'Anime' hadn't even been coined yet, although I suppose I am talking of a time before most of you were even born!)

I've seen Kappa Mikey it's HORRIBLE. Makes Teen Titans look like a masterpiece.

In my honest opinion, the mere fact that The Animation Collective--a company who has no idea what they are talking about--is making this is reason enough not to watch this. Oh, and spare me the "don't judge until you've seen it" nonsense. SInce it comes from the same people who made the previously mentioned Kappa Mikey, I have to assume that this show will be no different. Also, don't give me the "first impressions" explanation either, because it works both ways.

That's my final word on the matter. Take it however you like.

PS: Incidentally, I am aware of the fact that this isn't the first American produced rendition of "Mach Go Go Go" as it's called over there. I remember the 1993 version by Fred Wolf Films (1980's TMNT).

I hope this does well. Nice to see Speed Race get another try, hope the new concept does well (too bad the last one didn't take off)
