| Wow its premering here before the States? Cool! And its on a Saturday too so I can go! Sounds like its along the lines of Grave of the Fireflies so I definitely want to see it. |

| Unfortunately I'm going to be out of town that weekend so I'll be missing the show (being the one who passed this info along to ANN). I guess I'll have to actually read the book (my copy is in Japanese). In the Pacifiic Cinematheque guide there is mention that the copy of the film being screened is on DVD. Cool. Didn't know the society had equipment to project off that medium. Oh yeah, if you're not a member of the society then don't forget that there's a $3 membership fee for adults. |
