I was very disappointed in the last DVD of this series. I believe that the best part of the series was when spoiler[the house burns down and Kouhei and Hazuki need to flee for the hills] The impact of those episodes are revoked by the next few episodes where spoiler[you find out that Gramps and Elfriede are actually alive.] I also don't remember as many visual jokes like the constant falling pans in the sillier episodes on the first couple of DVDs. I didn't get the humor on the two epilogue episodes as well. If anything I will say that Carl gave this mixed bag of a final DVD a higher grade than it deserves.
